PSG’S CATALOGUE OF VARIABLE EFFORT SUPPORTS HAS BEEN EXTENDED

PSG's range of Variable Effort Supports now includes:

Long travel variable effort supports range V4 (210mm Working Range) and V5 (280mm Working Range). These springs have softer spring rates than the V3 range and can be used where Range V3 springs are unsuitable because the amount of vertical movement is too high or load variability exceeds the allowable. The range of long travel variables incorporates all the features of Pipe Supports Group’s standard travel range springs. 
 

High load variable effort supports. These items use a number of spring coils enclosed in a cylindrical housing which still features Pipe Supports Group’s infinitely variable preset and multi-lock device. These springs are available in V1, V2 and V3 travel ranges and are suitable for loadings up to 40,000kgf. These spring units are both shorter and fatter than items using single spring coils having similar load capacity. The short height is particularly useful for base-mounted (pusher) type supports where installed height is limited.
