British Pipe Supports (JingJiang) Ltd, based at JinJiang City approximately 150km from Shanghai, is now fully operational. The new division of the Pipe Supports Group manufactures a full range of pipe support products including variable & constant effort supports, clamps, ancillary items, slide bearings and cryogenic supports.
Constant & Variable spring supports manufactured by BPS have now been certified in accordance with the following Chinese specifications:
JB/T 8130.1-1996 - Constant supports
JB/T 8130.2-1996 - Variable supports
With a workshop of 3,000 m2 and an office of 300 m2, this represents an investment of GBP 910,000. At present BPS has 16 management and technical personnel, most of whom have been trained in the overseas production bases and headquarters. The Company is expanding, with a corporate plan to employ 130 people. Through good product design, skilled manufacture, meticulous raw material selection, and full quality control, BPS works to international standards. Using the same systems and processing equipment as the UK headquarters, the Company can satisfy the requirements of domestic and foreign customers, with the highest quality and reasonable prices for all its pipe support products.
